Hengmao has worked in synthetic filament yarn since 2005 as an integrated research, production and import–export business — a source factory, not a trading desk.

Two standardised production bases, Guangshui in Hubei and Zhuji in Zhejiang, supply domestic and overseas customers in parallel. Our Zhuji office sits inside the Datang yarn market, at the centre of China's hosiery industry.

The yarn ends up in underwear, socks and stretch knitted fabrics for brands and mills at home and abroad.

How it's made

Textured, covered and checked under one roof.

From flat POY to a finished package, every lot passes four quality gates on its way through the plant.

One filament in three states: flat POY, crimped DTY after texturing, and ACY wrapped around an elastane core.

    Raw material inbound check

    POY and elastane are inspected and logged before they enter the line.

    Draw texturing

    The flat filament is drawn and false-twist textured, giving it crimp, bulk and stretch — DTY.

  3. 03

    Air covering

    For ACY, polyester or nylon filament is air-jet wrapped around an elastane core in one integrated process.

  4. 04Quality gate

    In-process patrol inspection

    Operators walk the lines checking tension, package build and appearance while yarn is running.

    100% finished-goods inspection

    Every package is inspected before it is packed.

  6. 06Quality gate

    Outbound re-check and dispatch

    Lots are re-verified against the order before loading.

LabA dedicated testing lab controls shrinkage, stretch and colour fastness.
